We are looking for an editor whose mission is to edit video interviews.

Your mission will be to edit interviews, and to give the best impression of our guest ; to make some great and badass intros, and to give tension and drama.

The use of music, texts and infographics is really important and contributes to make our videos impactful.

You will be working alongside the international video team and the head of content, in order to keep in mind our values and our way of editing. Your videos will be shared on our Youtube Channels.

Your mission is to bring awe to people, always aiming to have the biggest impact on our community.

This is a full-time job, remotely or from our beautiful offices in Dubai and Geneva.

 

🎯 Your 5 main missions :

1. To perfectly master the values of the Company

  • To work with the head of content, in order to always keep in mind our values and way of working.
  • To work with the team video in order to understand our standards, the way we edit videos.
  • Being curious, and watching a lot of content, in order to suggest ideas, or improve your own way of editing.
  • To give singularity to our new Channel : Business Tribe.

2. Master of Editing

  • Perfect use of Adobe premiere pro, and perfect editing. You are able to use the software perfectly in order to give the perfect editing.
  • Synchronize the different video rushs and sounds. Your are able to follow our “standard” in order to deliver a well organised project.
  • To work on an orderly project. Your project can be shared to any other editor, and they can perfectly work on it without the need of any explanations. The project is crystal clear.
  • Being able to work on every part of a video : editing, mixing, color grading, adding titles. You deliver a very complexe video, with good use of music, effects, color grading. You work on every detail to make a perfect video.
  • Basis on Photoshop, you are able to create thumbnails.
  • All interviews will be in english, so we need native english speakers.

3. Editing powerful introductions and effective structure

  • You are able to edit badass intros, with tension and drama. Your editing has to capture the interest of all viewers, it has to be catchy and announce the goals of the interview.
  • You write your own text for intros, chapters etc. The text has to be catchy, and well written in order to keep our audience watching the video.
  • You write the voice-over, which presents our guest. So you have to do some research about him/her, and give the best presentation possible.
  • Editing a powerful beginning of an interview. After the introduction and jingle, we have to create some emotional sequence, which helps the viewers to have empathy/sympathy for our guest.
  • Do some research and find images to illustrate the introduction of our guest (with voice-over). Edit an amazing presentation which shows our guest’s accomplishments.

4. Your organization rocks

  • Working with boards in order to be organized, and working with video teams in order to share the videos for broadcasting.
  • Deliver videos on time, in order to respect the schedule.
  • Following the KPI, in order to have information on what our audience likes or not.
  • Make feedbacks to the video team, in order to help them improve the shootings.

5. Leadership

  • Being able to manage some other editors if needed. You are able to give advice to editor in order to help them improve their editing.
  • Being obsessed with the growth of Business Tribe, following KPIs, looking for new trends on other channels etc.
  • Creating tutorials in order to share your practice.
  • Available to work with video teams to bring ideas and evolve our interviews.

    To address this issue, we have surrounded ourselves with scientists, top athletes (Fred Bousquet, Frank Leboeuf, Serge Betsen among others), artists (Barry Osborne, producer of The Lord of the Rings and The Matrix), entrepreneurs (Marc Simoncini, Frédéric Mazzella, Gary Vaynerchuk, Janine Allis) and many other leaders and experts to dissect their strategies and share counter-intuitive and thought-provoking ideas.

    2. Ideas that are worthwhile but shared in a boring way
    and which unfortunately don’t catch attention.

    3. Change is hard. And knowledge only works for too few people

    We found our answer in the Greek Mythology, with the Ulysses Pact.

    Ulysses of his (Greek name Ὀδυσσεύς, Odysseus) wanted to hear the Sirens’ song, but all of those who tried died doing so. So he decided to put wax in his men’s ears so that they could not hear and had them tie him to the mast so that he could not jump into the sea. For the first time ever, someone was able to listen to the sirens while surviving. Ulysses didn’t succeed because of willpower, but because of an ingenious system that gave him no choice but to succeed. And this is what had been called the Ulysses' Pact.
